New Haircut!!!
So a month or two back I decided that I wanted to get my haircut. At that time I didn't really know how I wanted my hair to look like, so I went on a website I never thought I would go. Pinterest. Holy cow! Right away I found the hairstyle that I loved. Granted, it was a really REALLY short look which kinda scared my family ,but I really loved it.
Now because I had a while to think about it, my mind was already made up and I was set on getting my haircut. I am the type of person to like surprising people and semi giving people mini heart attacks so I didn't tell anyone except for select few. (So if you didn't know anything about this, don't feel to bad).
I took WAY to many selfies to have a memory of what my hair looked like. This is a good thing because now I can give you a before and after shot!
(I think my mom found me a bit crazy for taking so many pictures but.... shut up. It is normal to feel attached. And I am only showing you one cause...I have way too many as I said before.)
So when I went in to get my hair cut, I had my reference picture to make sure they got the full idea of how I wanted it. When I showed it to the guy who was going to cut my hair, I'm pretty sure he had a heart attack. Before he even picked up the scissors, he asked probably a thousand times if I was sure that was how I wanted it. Yes dude, I was 100% sure. He then went on to tell me how most girls do this drastic hairstyle change when they break up with a boyfriend. Now me being forever alone and therefore never having a boyfriend, I found this extremely amusing. He stopped at every style he thought would look good on me. He stopped right at my shoulders, a little bit above my shoulders, at my neck, a little bit above my neck, really close to my jawline, but alas, nothing could change my mind. I wanted it short and good golly miss Molly, I was going for it. I could tell that he was a little hesitant to cut my hair but, he went for it. When I told him short, I meant short and that is exactly what he did. Now when he stopped and was about to take the little cape thingy off, I was all like (in my head of course), "holla holla holla. I look like a mushroom. No way man." and so to him I was like, "Can you take a little of the sides cause it is looking a little weirdly shaped."
So, off it went and it looked SO much better. Hallelujah! Before I left, he said that he had to give it to me because I looked good in every style he put it and that I actually had the guts to go through with it. After I got home I immediately went to my room to take picture because the lighting would soon be gone and that would have NOT been good.
And that is the finished product! I absolutely love it! (And one person I showed said that I looked a little bit like Shailene Woodley which totally made my day. Another person said I looked like Anne Hathaway which made me happy cause she is amazing as well.)
It IS gonna take a lot of getting use to but I feel like I am really gonna love this hairstyle.
So far, I took a shower to get rid of that itchy feeling and then I towel dried my hair. Holy cow! It only took about five minutes for it to dry which is super nice. After I brushed it, I used a blow dryer cause it was looking flat like a piece of paper. After that, it was nice a fluffy and just the way I want it.
I am looking forward to getting some hair accessories like bows and headbands to dress up my hair since I can't do a lot with it that makes it look pretty. I mean, I can do A LOT with this hair but nothing that I would do if I were going some place nice.
I hope you all enjoyed this post and I will update you all on whatever comes up....as soon as something comes up.
ANYWAY!
Stay lovely!
